NexTran's Xtremo ATM Certified by NYCE and Genpass; Next Generation Terminal Now Certified by All Major ATM Processors
Business Wire, July 6, 2005
SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- NexTran Industries, Inc. today announced that its Xtremo line of ATMs has been certified for processing by Metavante Corporation's NYCE ATM Network and U.S. Bank's Genpass Technologies, two of the largest ATM processors in the U.S.
Certification means that millions of consumers will be able to use their ATM cards at Xtremo ATMs purchased and used on these networks, said NexTran Chief Executive Officer Tony Park in making the announcement.
"We're pleased that the Xtremo will now be available to ATM owners processing through NYCE or Genpass," said Park. "The Xtremo's long list of features will provide consumers with more choices in the ATM marketplace."
Up till now, said Park, ATM owners had to chose between a small ATM that dispensed cash but little else, or an ATM that provided more convenience services but consumed valuable retail space. "The Xtremo can dispense cash, provide money wiring, sell phone cards or postage and re-charge cell phones--all in an area little more than two square feet," Park explained.
With certification by NYCE and Genpass, the Xtremo has now been certified by all major ATM processors, including Innobeta Systems, Inc., Columbus Data Services, LLC, and Core Data, a unit of First Data Corp., according to Park.
