Menlo Worldwide Promotes Two; Lonny Warner Named Vice President of High-Tech Industry Group Bob Bassett Named Vice President of Sales and Marketing

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Menlo Worldwide Inc., a subsidiary of CNF Inc. (NYSE:CNF), announced today that Lonny E. Warner has been promoted to vice president of the company's high tech industry group. Robert W. Bassett has been named the company's new vice president of sales and marketing. The announcement was made by Menlo Worldwide president Robert L. Bianco.
Warner previously served as vice president of sales and marketing. In his new position, he is responsible for the continuing growth and management of Menlo Worldwide as a leader in managing hi-tech company supply chains. He reports to Gary Kowalski, chief operating officer of Menlo Worldwide.

Bassett succeeds Warner and is responsible for all aspects of the company's sales and marketing activities. He reports to Bianco.
"Bob has more than 25 years of global industry experience and a strong background in sales, operations, and business and partnership development. As director of global business development he had a significant impact on our business growth," said Bianco.
Warner has been with Menlo Worldwide and CNF for more than 15 years in both operations and sales capacities. He joined the organization in 1989 and held a series of increasingly responsible positions including vice president of high-tech sales, director of business development, and other logistics operations management and sales positions within the CNF companies. Before joining Menlo Worldwide, Warner was a sales executive with Xerox Corporation. He holds a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma and has completed several executive management programs with Northwestern and Michigan State Universities. Warner is based in Coppell, Texas.
Bassett has been with the company for six years. Before joining Menlo Worldwide, he spent seven years with Fedex Supply Chain Services as an industry group vice president, and three years with Ryder Freight System as Western Regional Vice President. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is active in various industry organizations. Bassett is based in Redwood City.
