Former National Champion Football Star Joins Orange County Law Firm
Business Wire, June 1, 2005
IRVINE, Calif. -- Keith E. McCullough Esq., who starred at center for BYU's 1984 National Champion football team, has been named to the starting lineup of the law firm of Adorno, Yoss, Alvarado & Smith.
McCullough will focus on Business Litigation, Eminent Domain, Water Law, Real Property Law and Condemnation. He is an expert in these practices and has given speeches on these topics to groups such as the Association of California Water Agencies, the California Special Districts Association and the Orange County City Attorneys Association.
After leading the Cougars to an NCAA Football Championship in 1984, McCullough graduated from BYU with a degree in political science 2 years later. He then earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin in 1989 before moving to Southern California to practice law.
"During our championship year at BYU, I learned that a team is only as strong as its weakest link," said McCullough. "I'm fortunate to be joining a firm that is as solid from top to bottom in law as that 1984 national championship team was in football."
McCullough has served as a partner in the Costa Mesa law firm of McCormick, Kidman & Behrens LLP for the past 9 years and is a past member of the board of directors of the Riverside County Bar Association. In addition to his legal expertise, McCullough has found time to make significant contributions to his community. He is the president of the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation and has served as a Cubmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for the past 10 years.
