NetManage Announces Data Integration Plug-In for Librados Adapters; New Java Plug-In Expands Librados JCA Plus Adapters' Data Integration Capabilities
Business Wire, June 13, 2005
CUPERTINO, Calif. -- NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides solutions for accessing, Web enabling and integrating enterprise information systems, today announced its Librados Data Integration Plug-In. Now, enterprise system functions and data, dynamically exposed in XML, can be mapped to a variety of data formats, including XML, database, flat file and EDI. The pure J2EE standards-based plug-in connects back-end enterprise system functions, dramatically reducing implementation time for integration projects.
The Data Integration Plug-In is incorporated into the design-time configuration environment provided with each NetManage Librados JCA Plus Adapter. Exposed through the adapter via an intuitive GUI, the user is able to select business functions in the target enterprise application, transforming or translating source system data into any format, without any programming.
"To get the most value out of enterprise information systems in today's heterogeneous IT world, companies need adapters that provide flexible, open and efficient integration," said Jason Bloomberg, senior analyst, ZapThink, LLC. "NetManage's Librados Data Integration Plug-in is a pure Java, open standards-based data integration tool that provides dynamic data transformation and translation capabilities for back-end applications to support developers with their integration and SOA projects."
"NetManage's Librados Data Integration Plug-In is a natural extension of the company's JCA Plus Adapter product line. The Data Integration Plug-In continues the NetManage Librados commitment to delivering pure Java, open standards-based application integration solutions that offer complete server platform portability," said Jim Campigli, chief technology officer for Librados products at NetManage. "The combination of these new data integration capabilities with our suite of pure Java, J2EE standards-based adapters represents a first for the industry and will assist enterprise customers in further reducing the already short implementation cycles achieved with our products."
Availability
The Librados Data Integration Plug-In is now available as an add-on component with any of the more than 50 Librados JCA Plus Adapters.
