Configuresoft to Discuss the Impact of Compliance Requirements on Security Strategy at Milwaukee ITEC; George Gerchow Will Outline Industry Best Practices for Proactively Attacking Configuration and Change Management
Business Wire, June 14, 2005
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Configuresoft, an innovator in systems management technology and the creator of the enterprise compliance management market, today announced George Gerchow, technical sales manager, will be an invited guest on Vendor Strategy panel at Milwaukee ITEC, Milwaukee, WI. Mr. Gerchow will discuss the importance of configuration management in developing an effective enterprise strategy for security and regulatory policy compliance.
Configuresoft will be exhibiting at Milwaukee ITEC booth #121.
Historically, IT executives have been solely responsible for ensuring enterprise security policy compliance. With the emergence of SOX, FISMA, GLBA and HIPAA regulatory mandates, a new series of non-IT compliance requirements must now be balanced with operational needs, a daunting task. From this session IT executives will learn how to prevent most of the risks to their IT infrastructures by gaining a complete understanding of details associated with security, compliance and configuration controls throughout the enterprise. Mr. Gerchow will explain how to evaluate and identify gaps between internal and regulatory compliance requirements. He will also highlight customer examples where such a process has provided the additional benefits of a legal, secure, reliable, responsive, and cost effective IT infrastructure.
Who: George Gerchow, technical sales manager, Configuresoft What: "SynerComm and Configuresoft" When: Thursday, June 23 at 1:30 p.m. CT Where: Milwaukee ITEC, Midwest Airlines Center, Milwaukee, WI
