ASiQ Selects EMS Technologies for In-Flight Internet Connectivity

OTTAWA & SEATTLE -- ASI Entertainment, Inc.'s (OTCBB:ASIQ) wholly owned subsidiary ASiQ Pty Ltd. and EMS SATCOM, a division of EMS Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:ELMG) reported today that the two companies have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI).
Under the LOI, ASiQ has selected EMS SATCOM's eNfusion HSD-128 high-speed data solution for the ASiQnet Saudi Arabian Airlines Program to provide global in-flight Internet connectivity. Saudi Arabian Airlines, the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, operates to a vast network of domestic and international destinations.
Ron Chapman, ASiQ's CEO, stated, "ASiQ's relationship with EMS SATCOM is extremely important, as EMS SATCOM is the leader in providing hardware for the in-flight Inmarsat broadband satellite packet data services. The HS-128 is ideal for the ASiQnet program, since it delivers 64Kbps packet data link can be upgraded to accommodate the new Inmarsat SwiftBroadband 432Kbps link."

The ASiQnet program is unique as it combines the latest Inmarsat broadband satellite delivery system with the 3G (third-generation) cellular network. Through integrating both networks operating at 432Kbps with compatible protocols, high-speed data can be delivered into the aircraft, whether it is on the ground or in flight. This makes it the most cost-effective solution available to the airline industry.
