Quovadx to Impart Community Data Sharing Expertise at Get Connected Knowledge Forum; Health Conference Brings Together Key Participants to Support Connected Healthcare Communities and Regional Health Information Organizations

(Nasdaq:QVDX), a global software and vertical solutions company, today announced that Mike Epplen, vice president of product management, Integration Solutions division (ISD) of Quovadx, will be a speaker at the Get Connected 2005 Knowledge Forum. The Get Connected 2005 Knowledge Forum will bring together attendees seeking information on building a Connected Healthcare Community (CHC) or Regional Health Information Organization (RHIOs) and industry leaders with expertise in building connected communities. The event will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas on from June 27, 2005 - June 29, 2005.
In Mr. Epplen's presentation, entitled "Technology Models for Building Health Information Infrastructure," he will illustrate the importance of the technology infrastructure to enabling and maintaining successful Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) and Connected Healthcare Communities (CHCs). Epplen will demonstrate key points using real-world case studies from the company's work enabling clinical data sharing among RHIO participants and within healthcare organizations, including the company's pioneering work with the Santa Barbara County Care Data Exchange and the deployment of the Canadian Capital Health Authority RHIO solution. In addition, Epplen will discuss the key elements of RHIO infrastructures, critical to building a strong technology framework for deployment.
