Manugistics Revenue Management Director of Operations Research Jon Higbie will join other industry experts in a panel discussion on "Integrating Revenue Technology Solutions with Internal Systems and Processes in the Real-World Hotel Management Environment" at the second annual HSMAI Revenue Management Strategy Conference. The HSMAI Conference is being held in Los Angeles on June 20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in conjunction with the Hospitality Industry Technology Expo and Conference (HITEC) conference. Higbie will address the company's large-scale hotel-chain revenue management implementations and how they are optimizing total profit per available room and available guest.
Manugistics Product Development Director Suresh Acharya will make two presentations at the 5th Annual INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section Conference at MIT's Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts June 16-19. Acharya will discuss the topic "Understanding Sales History: Price Normalization and Demand Classification" on Thursday, June 16 and will participate in a panel discussion on "Markdown Pricing at Multiple Stores" on Friday, June 17.
Manugistics Product Development Senior Director Steve Haas will also be speaking at the MIT INFORMS conference. Haas will present on the topic "Estimating the Benefits of Price Optimization," on Friday, June 17.
