Nastel Confirms Support for IBM Websphere MQ Version 6.0

Business Wire, June 2, 2005

NEW YORK & LONDON -- Nastel Technologies:

--New version supports SOA architecture and provides important benefits - faster problem resolution, improved speed of development and zero latency

Nastel Technologies, market leader in real-time operations and performance monitoring and automation for application integration infrastructures, today announced commitment to continued support for IBM's WebSphere MQ messaging software.

IBM recently announced WebSphere MQ version 6.0, upgraded to support companies building services-oriented architectures. WebSphere MQ automatically connects applications and passes messages between them. This new version brings added security, enhanced performance especially for Java(TM) Message Service (JMS) applications, support for Microsoft(TM) Windows XP and Linux, features that harmonize the z/OS(TM) and distributed platform products, enhanced scalability, reliability and simplified development of API exits.

Nastel's AutoPilot/WMQ is the only product set designed expressly to work with the IBM's WebSphere family of products. AutoPilot/WMQ provides true end-to-end, real-time application process monitoring in a distributed application environment. AutoPilot/WMQ modules monitor and control WMQ middleware and application interaction to optimize operations and eliminate the redundancies and bottlenecks that can cost companies millions. In addition, there are tools for tech support teams which help to quickly identify problems. This is particularly valuable for troubleshooting and the prompt resolution of any problems, both of which improve speed of development.

In addition, Nastel's AutoPilot/TM, designed for end-to-end transaction monitoring and tracking also supports the new WebSphere MQ version 6.0.

David Mavashev, CEO at Nastel added "Our AutoPilot/WMQ product has been successfully implemented by our customers for some years, meeting their demands for monitoring within their WebSphere environment. We are pleased to confirm our continued support for the IBM WebSphere MQ software and are ready to embrace version 6.0 with our corresponding, upgraded AutoPilot/WMQ product suite."
