GOT Corporation Unveils Campaigner for Salesforce, GOT's Campaigner for Salesforce Seamlessly Unites Email Marketing With CRM
Business Wire, June 21, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO -- GOT Corporation and salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), today announced Campaigner for Salesforce at the Summer '05 launch in San Francisco. Tightly integrated with Salesforce via the Sforce on-demand platform, and immediately available to salesforce.com customers, Campaigner for Salesforce is a powerful email marketing application that has been seamlessly integrated into the Salesforce interface. Users now have the ability to power and track large volume email marketing initiatives from within Salesforce in a two-step wizard while unifying them with sales and customer support activities of their organization.
"Enabling partners such as GOT to deliver business applications within Salesforce is a key capability of Multiforce," said Adam Gross, director of product marketing of Sforce. "GOT's Campaigner for Salesforce is an innovative solution that allows users to access a feature-rich email marketing application with the same data model and same user interface as their existing Salesforce deployment. Users will work within a familiar environment and benefit from new, powerful customer relationship marketing functionality."
Campaigner for Salesforce will allow Salesforce users to quickly and easily create and send sophisticated email marketing messages and outbound communications directly from the Salesforce interface. Users can select from email templates or generate HTML messages on-the-fly and deliver professional marketing messages. All email response metrics, including opens, click-throughs and bounces, are automatically tracked by Campaigner for Salesforce in the Salesforce Campaigns tab and in individual Contact and Lead Activity history.
"Campaigner for Salesforce is unique, allowing Salesforce users to send targeted, personalized email campaigns of unlimited volume without ever leaving the Salesforce interface," said Eric Melka, CEO of GOT. "With SForce salesforce.com provided an on-demand platform that allowed GOT to seamlessly integrate its cutting edge email marketing tool into Salesforce. Now, users have the industry's most powerful outbound communication tool at their fingertips to easily send targeted emails to their Leads and Contacts in Salesforce."
The Campaigner for Salesforce product integration is made possible through Sforce, salesforce.com's client/service integration platform. Today, a variety of systems and platforms, including enterprise applications, desktop solutions, mobile devices and IP phone systems integrate with Salesforce and Supportforce via the Sforce Web service API, making key business information available to users from all of their favorite applications and tools.
The Sforce on-demand integration platform allows solution developers to customize, integrate and extend Salesforce to create sophisticated custom CRM solutions. In contrast to traditional packaged software, Sforce allows developers to use the tools they already know and love from IBM, BEA , Borland and Microsoft, and open source solutions like Perl and PHP, to build CRM integrations and applications with record speed and success. Leveraging standards and technologies from the Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Sforce continues to demonstrate how on-demand platforms are a central part of the new enterprise IT strategies. Free access to the Sforce community, as well as more information on the Sforce Developer Program, is available at http://www.sforce.com.
