Ping Identity Receives Investment from SAP Ventures; Leader in Federated Identity to Collaborate with SAP's Venture Arm

DENVER -- Ping Identity Corporation, the leading provider of federated identity management software solutions, today announced the addition of SAP Ventures as the final participant in its over-subscribed Series B financing. Proceeds from SAP Ventures, a division of SAP AG, investment will be used to expand Ping's rapid growth into products and services that target business-to-business integration.
PingFederate(TM), Ping Identity's flagship federation server, allows enterprises to securely link and exchange identity information for an enterprise's partner, supplier and customer organizations. Numerous Global 2000 corporations are deploying PingFederate to more efficiently implement initiatives around Web Single Sign On, Portal Integration, and Service Oriented Architectures.
