Creative Vistas Launches Iview-360: Breakthrough Imaging Technology for the Surveillance Market
Business Wire, June 22, 2005
WHITBY, Ontario -- Creative Vistas, Inc., (OTCBB: CVAS), a leading provider of integrated electronic security and surveillance systems, announced today that it has launched Iview-360, a breakthrough technology for the surveillance industry. Iview-360 is a panoramic camera that provides a 360 degree view of an area for complete situational awareness. It also provides the user the ability to digitally zoom in on any particular region within its coverage. Iview-360 provides many virtual EPTZ (Electronic Pan Tilt Zoom) cameras to replace many conventional cameras thus significantly reducing equipment and installation costs. Iview-360 uses proprietary embedded intelligent video processing technology which enables the product to work without the requirement of a PC.
"The Iview-360 technology can be used to monitor and secure many vertical segments within the surveillance market including government, military, commercial, financial, education, retail, and healthcare," said Sayan Navaratnam, Chief Executive Officer of Creative Vistas, Inc. and AC Technical Systems Ltd. The Company has started demonstrating the technology to a number of potential customers and has had a great response. "We are extremely pleased with the initial response to the product demonstrations and look forward to a successful commercialization of the product. It will be a significant addition to the Iview product line"
Iview-360 uses embedded digital technology that enables it to be built with minimal moving parts. This allows the product to provide a longer life cycle and very efficient MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) rates. The Company expects to introduce a number of new software features to the product over the next three months.
The Company announced the launch of Iview-DVMS, a line of Digital Video Management Systems last week.
