Business Wire, June 22, 2005
MARLBORO, Mass. -- In response to customer requests for advanced test and measurement capabilities, Data Translation announces the release of .NET compliant tools that allow engineers to control data acquisition board functions and provides math and graphing functions for use with Microsoft's Visual Studio. DTx-EZ works with Data Translation's DT-Open Layers driver architecture so programs created with DTx-EZ can run on any DT-Open Layers driver compliant PCI or USB data acquisition board. .NET technology gives engineers the ability to simplify the design, development, and deployment of customer solutions.
"DTx-EZ is a very stable software package used for years in thousands of applications in virtually every industry worldwide," states Tim Ludy, Product Marketing Manager. "The release of DTx-EZ 2.5 gives our users an easy way to develop test and measurement applications using the very latest Microsoft Visual Studio technology.
In addition to .NET support, DTx-EZ 2.5 provides new features such as:
--Up/Down counter/timer support to allow for machine positioning applications
--Edge-to-edge and continuous edge-to-edge measurements from rising to falling edge provides more precise timing measurements
--High speed plotting/graphing control draws data to PC display for analyzing signals in real time
--Real time FFT analysis of incoming signals
