Business Wire, June 28, 2005
RESTON, Va. -- Netuitive, Inc., the leader in real-time analysis software for business service management (BSM), today announced the appointment of Tony Gilbert as vice president of sales. Mr. Gilbert is responsible for leading all of the company's customer-facing activities and will further assist in expanding Netuitive's position as a leader and innovator in the rapidly expanding BSM marketplace.
"Netuitive provides an enormous opportunity, and is one of the few players to truly deliver on the promise of automating complex decision making that involves multiple people, systems and business units," said Mr. Gilbert. "The company's patented approach to real-time analysis and intelligent alerting provides the missing link between IT value and business value. I look forward to furthering Netuitive's strong position in such a growing market."
Mr. Gilbert brings nearly a decade of experience in enterprise software sales to Netuitive. His strong leadership, sales strategies, and ability to build high-performance sales organizations that exceed revenue expectations have been the hallmarks of his career. Most recently, Mr. Gilbert served as regional sales manager at BMC in New York, which became one of the company's top growth performers under his leadership. Previously at BMC, Mr. Gilbert led sales in Brazil, which grew exponentially during his two-year assignment there. Prior to BMC, Mr. Gilbert held several sales leadership roles at IBM Corporation where he worked closely with IBM business partners to generate demand and target competitive opportunities.
"Tony is a talented sales executive who will help propel the revenue growth of Netuitive as we solidify our position as a leader in BSM," said Nicola Sanna, President and CEO of Netuitive. "BSM is one of the hottest segments in the software industry, and we continue to build an executive team that understands what drives this market."
