PortAuthority Technologies Adds Industry Veteran Krishna Kolluri to Board of Directors; Security Industry Expert to Guide Rapidly Growing Information Leak Prevention Company

Business Wire, June 28, 2005

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- PortAuthority Technologies(TM), the leader in Information Leak Prevention, today announced that it has appointed Krishna "Kittu" Kolluri to its Board of Directors. An information security industry veteran who led Neoteris as CEO until its acquisition by NetScreen Technologies, Kolluri is currently the executive vice president and general manager of the Security Products Group at Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR). Kolluri's addition expands the PortAuthority Technologies Board to five members.

"Kittu brings industry experience and operational insight in building world-class security companies to our Board," said Pete Foley, CEO of PortAuthority Technologies. "The executive team and I are looking forward to his involvement in shaping PortAuthority Technologies."

"The recent barrage of sensitive information leaks highlights the increasing risks and financial impact of the loss of customer privacy data and intellectual property. PortAuthority Technologies is the sole provider of innovative solutions to stop sensitive information leaks that might occur through email, web and other communication channels," said Kolluri. "I believe PortAuthority Technologies, with its ability to reliably and accurately prevent information leaks, is well positioned to become the leader in this rapidly growing market category. I look forward to working with the executive team to meet the needs of the Information Leak Prevention marketplace."

Kolluri joined Juniper Networks in April 2004 through the acquisition of NetScreen Technologies, a leading developer of network security and access solutions for enterprises and carriers worldwide. At NetScreen, he was the general manager of the Secure Access Products, a position he assumed following NetScreen's acquisition of Neoteris, the leader of SSL-based secure access infrastructure. Kolluri served as president and chief executive officer of Neoteris from March 2001 to November 2003. Kolluri co-founded Healtheon/WebMD, where he served as senior vice president and general manager of Provider Services from February 1996 to November 2000 and was responsible for product development, operations and business development.

Kolluri joins CEO Pete Foley and Asheem Chandna from Greylock Partners, Shmil Levy from Sequoia Capital, and Harvey Gettleson from Lexington Ventures on the company's Board of Directors. PortAuthority Technologies' Board of Directors collectively provide a wealth of experience in bringing security solutions to market and addressing real business problems for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises.
