Nacio Executive on Ziff-Davis Outsourcing Panel
Business Wire, June 30, 2005
NOVATO, Calif. -- Nacio's Thom Kennon, Senior Vice President for Client Services, headlined a panel of industry leaders at the June 23rd Ziff-Davis Virtual Trade Show on IT Outsourcing for SMBs. Also joining Thom on the 3-person panel of experts was Brian Wiser from Ingram Micro and Richard Rysiewicz, VP of Services at the industry trade group CompTIA.
Kennon's presentation -- Increasing and Accelerating the Business Benefits of Technology -- discussed the three main types of IT outsourcing: solutions, services and infrastructure. Using relevant business case studies for each, he navigated the national online audience of attendees through the various challenges and benefits of smart, successful IT outsourcing.
Nacio, a California-based Tier 1 hosting service provider and technology consultancy, has been providing customers with fully managed IT services, systems, applications and infrastructure since 1995.
Of the Ziff-Davis SMB virtual trade show, Kennon says: "They do a superb job of bringing together an interesting mix of tech industry minds both as panelists as well as attendees. The show they produce is top-notch. If you're a technology purchase decision maker in business today, you almost can't afford to miss the Ziff-Davis e-seminars."
"And it was great opportunity for us to be able to share our ten-years' worth of knowledge and experience as a leading ASP and IT-infrastructure outsource provider. We had a chance to talk about some of our own customers' experiences as they moved from in-house IT and solutions to a hosted, outsourced environment. I think those tales of success from the trenches were both encouraging and enlightening for the e-seminar audience," said Kennon.
