Pediatric Prosthetics Inc. Management Announces Formation of the ''Pediatric Prosthetics Foundation''
Business Wire, June 6, 2005
HOUSTON -- Pediatric Prosthetics, Inc. (OTC:PDPR) is delighted to announce the formation of the Pediatric Prosthetics Foundation, formed as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity. It is a "directed funds" project of the National Heritage Foundation, (www.nhf.org) a fully reporting public charity. It has been created solely to provide prosthetics to children whose parents qualify under government income guidelines, do not have insurance, or have insurance with inadequate provision for modern prosthetics.
Kenneth Bean, VP Operations, stated, "In recent years, many many companies and individuals have completely re-assessed their charitable giving priorities and practices. They want to know precisely where every single dime is being spent. We sincerely believe they are going to be thrilled to be part of giving these children a whole new future with state-of-the-art prosthetics and rehabilitation."
President and CEO, Linda Putback-Bean, summed it up, "We are so honored to be invited under the umbrella provided by the wonderful people there at the National Heritage Foundation. So many of our little patients have young parents just starting out in their careers or professions. One day, out of the blue, they are faced with a limb deficient baby through no fault of their own, with a six-figure financial burden that often cannot begin to be tackled without outside help. Over the years, the Foundation should prove to be the solution for many of these parents."
A donation may be made to "Pediatric Prosthetics Foundation" at 6201 Leesburg Pike, Suite 405, Falls Church, VA, 22044.
