Symantec Security Experts to Speak at MIS Forum on Government Information Security

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq:SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that two Symantec security experts will present at the Management Information Systems (MIS) Training Institute's Forum on Information Security in Government on Tuesday, June 7, at the Hilton Washington in Silver Spring, Md.
Brian Witten, director of government research for Symantec, will provide the keynote of the conference with a presentation entitled "Staying Ahead of Today's Cyber Attacks: The Shift From Reactive to Proactive Information Security Technology," from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. ET.
Vincent Weafer, senior director of Symantec Security Response, will follow with a presentation entitled "Spotlight on Spyware," from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. ET.
