Meridian Signs Celebrity Endorsement Contract with National Hockey League Player Matt Cooke of the Vancouver Canucks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Meridian Co., Ltd. ("Meridian" or the "Company") (OTCBB: MRDAF) is thrilled to have Matt Cooke of the Vancouver Canucks sign on to become a celebrity spokesperson for the Company and its products. Matt Cooke will endorse Meridian by attending trade shows and seminars, signing autographs and discussing the benefits of Meridian's preventative health devices. Matt and his wife Michelle are firm believers in the technology and information provided by the Digital Pulse Analyzer and are proud to be associated with Meridian.
Matt and his wife Michelle attended the Financial Forum in early February 2005 with Meridian and were at the booth each day speaking to potential and existing shareholders and signing autographs. The event was well attended with approximately 4,000 people. Along with providing the public with a great investment opportunity, Meridian showcased its Digital Pulse Analyzer and performed arterial testing to illustrate the focal point of the Company's business.

Matt Cooke played for the Windsor Spitfires and Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League from 1995-1998. He began his NHL career in 1998 and became a regular on the Vancouver Canucks lineup in 2000-2001.
Matt has become nothing short of a fan favourite in Vancouver due to his work ethic and determination on the ice. He won "Unsung Hero" as voted by the fans for the year 2002-2003. In the biggest highlight of his hockey career Matt played a large roll in winning GOLD with Team Canada at the 2004 World Hockey Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.
Matt devotes his time and energies to such charities as Canuck Place, Children's Hospice, Children's Heart Network and United Way. Matt also holds his own golf tournament in his home town in Ontario, donating all proceeds back to minor sports development in his community.
