Both Central Arizona College (CAC) and Iowa's Hawkeye Community College (HCC) have selected Polycom's interactive video solutions to standardize and enhance their distance learning communications.

CAC's distance learning network features Polycom's interactive video communications to connect students and faculty live from its main campus in Coolidge, Ariz., to remote campuses and learning centers around Pinal County. The CAC IP video network, which includes Polycom's ClassStation(TM) Solutions and award-winning VSX(TM) 7000 group video systems, was set up to help allocate scarce faculty resources for the large, rural county. Now, with 18 systems deployed at 12 sites throughout Pinal County, CAC is increasing the breadth of class offerings; not only to its college students, but also to K-12 schools in surrounding areas.
