Nuasis Webcast Spotlights the IT Department's Role in IP Contact Centers; Principal Analyst Drew Kraus Discusses IT's Ability to Meet the Challenge of IP-based Contact Centers

Representing Gartner Dataquest will be Drew Kraus, principal analyst for the enterprise networking and communications worldwide cluster, Garter Dataquest's Telecommunications. Kraus' research covers automatic call distributors, unified messaging, and various contact center and converged technologies. Before joining Dataquest, he spent more than 10 years in marketing voice-related technologies, focused on market analysis and competitive positioning.
Joining Kraus will be Nuasis' Joe McFadden, vice president of marketing. McFadden has spent more than 15 years in the call center industry, launching several first-in-category products including next generation ACDs, IVR, and web-based conference systems. He was part of the team that launched the Aspect CallCenter system and Edify's multi-media IVR system based on software agent technologies. He was co-founder of Latitude Communications that was ultimately purchased by Cisco Systems. He is named as a co-inventor on three patents associated with voice and web collaboration technology.
