ASTAR Air Cargo Announces Promotions in Finance Department

MIAMI -- ASTAR Air Cargo's Finance organization is promoting several of its finance staff, reporting to Greg Guillaume, ASTAR's Vice President of Finance and Controller.

Pedro Motta has been promoted to Director, Financial Planning and Analysis from his previous position of Manager, Finance and Risk Management. Motta previously worked as a pilot for a Brazilian regional airline and has a strong background in aviation and a degree in aeronautics. Prior to joining ASTAR, Motta earned an MBA from The Kellogg School of Northwestern University, where he studied finance and transportation strategy.
Stephen Dodd moves from his previous position as Financial Analyst to Senior Corporate Finance Analyst. Dodd joined ASTAR's Financial Planning and Analysis department two years ago, and will continue to report to Motta. Prior to joining ASTAR, Dodd worked in various industries, most recently as Director of Business Development for a NYC-based management and technology consulting firm. Dodd holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, as well as an MBA from the University of Florida.
Rob Miller has been promoted to Senior Financial Analyst from Financial Analyst. Miller has worked in the Financial Planning and Analysis department for the past two years, and will continue to report to Motta. Prior to joining ASTAR in 2003, Miller worked for BellSouth as a Business Process Analyst, and at Kinetics BioPharm as a Pharmaceutical Engineer. Miller holds an MBA in Finance and Competitive Strategy from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biotech Engineering from Clemson University.
Lillian Marty was promoted to Accounting Supervisor from Accountant. Prior to joining ASTAR two years ago, Marty was an SEC reporting accountant at TriQuint Semiconductor. Marty also served in various accounting positions at McDonalds Corp. and Stryker, Inc. Marty is a CPA and earned her accounting degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
Marta Castillo, previously in ASTAR's Accounting department for two years, was promoted to Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis group and will report to Motta. Castillo will continue to be responsible for Treasury operations in addition to her new duties in Financial Planning and Analysis. Before joining ASTAR, Castillo was an external auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers for two years. She is a CPA and obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
