Delta Dental of District of Columbia Partners with Howard University College of Dentistry to Fill Unmet Dental Needs of Low-Income, Working Families

What: A ceremony to award a grant of $10,000 from Delta Dental of the
District of Columbia to Howard University College of Dentistry in
support of the new Robert W. Johnson Foundation Community Education
Center, serving the needs of the uninsured, working poor; we will also
dedicate the school's new dental clinic as the "Thomas E. Jeter
Community Dental Center."

Where: Howard University College of Dentistry, 600 W Street, NW, at
the school's entrance.

Who: Howard University College of Dentistry faculty, administration
and students; Delta Dental of DC executive staff; representatives of
the District of Columbia and Robert T. Freeman Dental Societies;
friends and supporters of the Thomas E. Jeter Dental Center and the
numerous programs it supports.

Event Details: Speakers participating in the ceremony will address how
the new dental clinic and its various programs are working to fulfill
the unmet dental needs of the region's working low-income population.
A ceremonial check from Delta Dental will be presented to clinic
staff. The extraordinary collaboration between parties that have
enabled the new center to get off the ground will be discussed and
explained.
