Narus Introduces IP Network Visualization Product; Dynamic NarusView Analyzes and Displays IP Data in Real Time
Business Wire, March 14, 2005
NEW ORLEANS -- Mountain View, CA-based Narus, Inc., the leading Carrier-Class IP Platform software provider, today announced the availability of NarusView(TM), the real-time IP network traffic analysis and visualization application. An industry first, NarusView(TM) provides visual representation of data in real-time from all IP networks, including mobile, broadband, and carrier backbones.
Today most carriers are not real-time aware of the traffic in their networks. NarusView, using the Narus IP Platform to provide access to a carrier's IP traffic across their entire network, gives them the access to real-time data they have never had. By displaying all IP network traffic, analyzing customer access for market research, or viewing traffic anomalies, NarusView brings a richer meaning to "Total Network View(TM)."
Exclusive NarusView features include:
Real-time Traffic Analysis Screens -- real-time display of IP network traffic metrics and dimensions revealing traffic and customer usage
Multiple Reporting Options -- includes bar charts, time legends, relationship mapping and geographic mapping
Click-to-Drill Analysis -- enables the selection of a metric in one graph to determine what will be represented in the other graphs on the screen for a detailed drill down
"NarusView is the first-of-its-kind solution, bringing real-time access and point & click analytics to the carriers. They can easily see trends developing, set measured usage criteria, and investigate high volumes of data over wired and wireless networks," said Jay Thomas, vice president of product marketing at Narus. "With the information that NarusView provides, our customers gain the deep knowledge they need to manage network performance."
NarusView integrates with all of Narus' products and applications such as Traffic Anomaly Detection, IP Monitoring, and IP Mediation for Billing. Multiple applications on a single Narus IP Platform allow service providers to realize greater operational efficiencies.
Narus will be demonstrating NarusView at CTIA Wireless 2005 in New Orleans, La., March 14-16 at Narus' booth, #6925.
