Nixon Peabody LLP Represents JetBlue Airways on $250 Million Public Offering

NEW YORK -- Nixon Peabody LLP represented JetBlue Airways in connection with its $250 million public offering, announced March 10, 2005, of 3-3/4% convertible debentures due 2035. Morgan Stanley was the sole bookrunning manager for this offering, with Merrill Lynch & Co, UBS Investment Bank and Blaylock & Partners, LP acting as co-managers.
With this deal, Nixon Peabody has represented JetBlue on five public offerings over the past several years. The Nixon Peabody team consisted of partners Richard F. Langan, Jr., Bruce E. Rosenthal and Steve R. Boshkov, associates Ronelle C. Porter and Richa Gautam, and paralegal Kim Braithwaite.
JetBlue is a low-fare, low-cost passenger airline, which provides high-quality customer service. JetBlue operates a fleet of 73 new Airbus A320 aircraft and plans to add 11 additional A320s and 7 Embraer E190s to its fleet in 2005. Based at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport, JetBlue currently operates 296 flights a day and serves 29 destinations in 12 states, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and The Bahamas.
