NexTran Group's ComNet Xtremo ATM Certified by Concord Processing
Business Wire, March 17, 2005
SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The NexTran Group, a significant provider of automated teller machine products and services, has announced that its newest ATM model, the ComNet Xtremo, has been certified for use on ATM networks operated by Concord Processing LP.
"The Xtremo fits into the category of ATMs known as 'mini-ATMs', but offers features usually found on larger machines," said Harry Whitman, executive vice president of the NexTran Group.
The Xtremo features include:
--A large 8-inch color screen
--A banknote cassette that can hold up to 2000 banknotes
--The ability to handle prepaid media services like money wiring, cell phone top-offs, phone cards, or postage
--Flexible stand-alone or through-the-wall installation
"The Xtremo is ready-to-go," said Whitman. "Our latest generation of software has been put to the test by Concord and shown to work well with its switch and communication software."
The certification process also validated that the Xtremo is compliant with the latest data-encryption standards for ATMs, known as Triple DES, according to Whitman.
