Thomas Equipment Inc. Announces First Shipments to Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd under Strategic OEM Agreement

CENTERVILLE, New Brunswick -- Thomas Rolls First Units off Assembly Line for Hyundai and Expects to Ship Today
Thomas Equipment Inc. ("Thomas") (OTCBB:TEQI) today announced that it completed the first units under its exclusive global supply agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries - Construction Equipment Division ("Hyundai"), http://english.hhi.co.kr/Business/Construction.asp, headquartered in Ulsan, South Korea. Hyundai is a multibillion dollar world leader in a number of diversified businesses including ship building, industrial plant, engineering services, and construction equipment. Thomas expects to ship the first units today to Hyundai for display at the ConExpo, www.conexpoconagg.com, in Las Vegas, Nevada scheduled for March 15 - 19, 2005.
Hyundai is a market leader in manufacturing and distribution of excavators and wheeled loaders. In 2004, this division delivered over 10,000 excavator units of all sizes in China thereby maintaining its top market share position in the huge and growing Chinese construction market. In accordance with the Hyundai OEM agreement, Thomas is the sole and exclusive supplier of Skid Steer Loaders and other Thomas manufactured products for Hyundai. Hyundai and Thomas signed the exclusive global agreement earlier this month.
