SAN FRANCISCO -- Award-winning Creative Joins Riney from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners

Publicis & Hal Riney today announced that Adam Chasnow has joined its creative team as Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director. He joins Riney from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco and will report to Co-Executive Creative Directors, Jae Goodman and Jon Soto.

"I've worked with Adam in the past and know that he is a seasoned, award-winning creative whose talent, passion and experience will be a great addition to the team," said Soto. "His reel is filled with some of the industry's best work, and the ability to attract and retain this caliber of talent is essential, as it's the way we deliver the best creative product possible to our clients. I'm thrilled that Adam came knocking because filling the place with inspiring people is the best thing an agency can do."

Riney will leverage Chasnow's years of experience driving effective campaigns for large brands across a wide spectrum of industries, including telecommunications, automotive and technology. His considerable work with leading telecommunications companies makes Chasnow an ideal addition to the Sprint creative team.

"Adam has done great work in several categories, but his genuine enthusiasm for tech and wireless will make him an outstanding leader on the Sprint business," added Goodman.

At Goodby, Chasnow contributed to work on leading clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Saturn and Adobe, and prior to its acquisition by Cingular, was an integral member of the AT&T Wireless team. Throughout his career, he has worked on several telecommunications accounts, including Ameritech Cellular, Metropolitan Fiber Systems, AT&T Long Distance and Quixi.

Previously, Chasnow was Vice President and Associate Creative Director at Cliff Freeman and Partners in New York. As a copywriter, his work for Church's Chicken, Staples, FOX Sports, Hollywood Video and Mike's Hard Lemonade received many international advertising awards, including One Show Gold Pencils, Cannes Lions, CLIOs and British D&AD, as well as honors in Communication Arts, the New York Art Director's Club and AICP/Museum of Modern Art. His radio advertising for Hollywood Video was awarded the $100,000 Grand Prize at the Radio-Mercury Awards, honoring America's best radio commercials.

"I'm excited to join this smart and enthusiastic team as well as a culture that is so clearly focused on building for the future," said Chasnow. "In addition to the allure of working with Jon Soto again, I simply can't pass up an opportunity to take a leadership position at an agency with so much new momentum and truly contribute to its success."

Chasnow is consistently recognized by his peers and was selected as the radio jury chair for the 2002 One Show and a judge of the 2001 and 2004 One Show, the Newspaper Athena Awards, the Radio-Mercury Awards and the Hong Kong Advertising Awards. He is also a frequent panelist at the Radio Advertising Bureau's Radio-Mercury Awards Creative Workshop.
