Quest Software's Toad for Oracle and JProbe Win Highly Coveted Jolt Productivity Awards; Quest Software Wins Jolt Award Four Years in a Row

(Nasdaq:QSFT), a leading provider of application, database and Windows management solutions, today announced that Quest Toad(R) for Oracle 8.0 and Quest JProbe(R) 5.2 have been awarded Jolt Productivity Awards. Toad for Oracle, Quest Software's highly configurable database development tool, received the award in the "Business Integration and Data Tools" category. JProbe, a complete performance toolkit for Java code tuning, won the award in the "Utilities" category.

The 15th annual Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards were judged by a respected panel of Software Development magazine editors, expert advisers and columnists. During a ceremony on March 16, 2005, the Jolt awards were given to products, books and Web sites that have "jolted" the industry by helping to create faster, easier and more efficient software.

This is the fourth year in a row that Quest Software products have won Software Development magazine's Jolt awards. Winning products include:

--Quest JClass ServerViews - received a Jolt Productivity Award in the "Libraries, Frameworks and Components" category in 2004.

--The JProbe Suite - earned a Jolt Productivity Award in the "Testing Tools" category in 2003 and was presented the prestigious Jolt Product Excellence Award in the "Utilities" category in 2002.

--The JClass DesktopViews Suite - won Jolt Productivity Awards in the "Libraries, Frameworks and Components" category in 2003 and 2000.
