"The landscape of today's IT organizations includes a mix of multiple database platforms, and DB2 remains a popular choice, especially for those running large enterprise data warehouse environments," said Charlie Garry, senior program director, META Group. "As we reaffirm our commitment to the DB2 market, we are excited about the opportunity to once again offer Quest Central for DB2 because it gives our customers cross-platform manageability with unmatched depth in functionality," said Juli Ackerman, vice president, database management solutions, Quest Software. "By providing DBAs with a common look and feel across multiple database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and DB2, Quest Central eliminates the learning curve and allows them to manage their database environment even if they are unfamiliar with the intricacies of a particular database."
