IMG Appoints Klaus Schottenhamel President and CEO of North American Operations; Industry Veteran of SAP Management Consulting Will Lead IMG Growth in Americas

Schottenhamel is a 20-year consulting and IT technology veteran with expertise in SAP consulting services and building successful SAP systems integration consultancies worldwide. IMG made the announcement at the SAP NetWeaver(TM) 2005 Conference where they will demonstrate the IMG integrated business models for SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW and SAP Enterprise Portals (Bellagio Hotel, March 30 - April 1; Booth # 505).

Most recently, he was president and CEO of SAP SI America, Inc., the systems integration division of SAP. At SAP SI America, Schottenhamel led the expansion of SAP SI America implementations throughout the US and grew revenue at an average rate of 40 per cent annually. Schottenhamel also served as a member of the executive board of PLAUT AG, a large SAP integration partner. As a member of the executive board, Schottenhamel was responsible for launching several PLAUT international business units, including a joint venture with Deloitte/PLAUT in South Africa, PLAUT UK, and PLAUT Consulting Inc. USA. At PLAUT Consulting Inc. USA, Schottenhamel built the company's US presence from the ground up and was responsible for significant increases in the company's customer portfolio and solution offerings. Schottenhamel also served as a member of the SAP National Partner Advisory Council and in executive management positions with other consulting and technology companies including Inforte, living systems, inc., and ConnectUS, LLC.
