Allegiant Air Selects CommPartners to Deploy Enterprise-Class VoIP Service
Business Wire, March 8, 2005
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- CommPartners' IT Channel Partner Anexeon Communications Leads Multi-Phased VoIP Service Integration for 200 Seats Across Airline's Headquarters, Reservation Center and Remote Airport Locations
CommPartners, an IP-based network operator and telephony services and solutions provider, today announced Allegiant Air has selected its enterprise-class VoIP solutions for the deployment of IP-based telephony reservation centers for 200 seats in over 16 cities across the U.S. Anexeon Communications, CommPartners' IT channel program partner, is leading Allegiant Air's transition from traditional wireline to CommPartners' VoIP network. The first phase of the installation will be at Allegiant Air's headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada and is scheduled to be completed in Q2, 2005 and will be followed by the additional rollout of CommPartners' VoIP service to 16 Allegiant Air airport locations and its reservation center.
As part of the transition, Anexeon Communications will be integrating a full range of IP-based telephony services including simultaneous calling features, call transfer and "find me" service, voicemail, four digit dialing between geographically diverse offices and stations, Caller ID, quick conferencing, and a world class hosted IP-based Call Center application that will bring new functionality to the airline's reservations center in Northern Nevada. In addition, CommPartners' solution includes CommPartners Management System (CMS) proprietary OSS platform for automated provisioning, user interface and back office support capabilities.
"As Allegiant has added additional routes and destination offerings, our current traditional wireline switch was running out of capacity to handle our continued growth," said Ponder Harrison, managing director, Allegiant Air. "In an effort to continue to offer the best service to our customers, and capitalize on the tremendous cost savings of IP-based telephony, we realized the next step in creating the most sophisticated reservation system was to transition to a VoIP network that could meet the volume demands and high quality of service for customers as we continue to scale our airline. In looking for the right VoIP partner, CommPartners and Anexeon Communications clearly demonstrated a deep understanding of our telephony needs. Coupled with their expertise in telecommunications and superior network offerings, we couldn't be more pleased with our choice."
"During this initial rollout phase, CommPartners and Anexeon Communications have ensured a smooth and seamless transition to our new VoIP network," said Jane Rowland, facilities manager, Allegiant Air. "I am continually impressed with the quality of service, security and flexibility of CommPartners' VoIP offerings."
"Today is an exciting day in CommPartners' history. In an industry where multiple location enterprises and call centers are critical to success, the addition of Allegiant Air to our customer roster further validates CommPartners' VoIP network and service offerings," said Dave Clark, president and chief executive officer of CommPartners. "We are proud to enable Allegiant to benefit greatly from the enterprise-class features, customization and scalability that only our VoIP offering can deliver and look forward to our continued partnership."
"Using the CommPartners hosted VoIP solution at the remote airports simplifies our installations of communications services. We no longer need to order traditional telecommunications services with a separate order for our internet services at every ticket counter/gate location. Agents will now be able to dial any extension, anywhere in the U.S, within the company using four digit dialing without long distance charges," said Michael McGhee, CEO, Anexeon Communications.
