LeCroy Announces Industry-Leading Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Option
Business Wire, March 9, 2005
CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- Four Analog and 32 Digital Channel Technology Provides Highest Mixed Signal Measurement Capability and Efficiency on the Market
LeCroy Corporation (NASDAQ: LCRY), a leading supplier of oscilloscopes and serial data test solutions, today announced the introduction of the MS-32, a mixed-signal option for its WaveSurfer(TM) 400 and WaveRunner(R) 6000 Series high-performance oscilloscopes. By combining four analog channels with an industry-leading 32 digital channels, the MS-32 enables design engineers to test multiple analog and digital signals simultaneously, with fewer re-connections and faster time to results as compared with mixed-signal technologies currently on the market.
"LeCroy developed the MS-32 option in response to customer demand for a mixed-signal oscilloscope that can efficiently and accurately test today's high-speed, 16-bit microcontrollers," said Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Scott Bausback. "Sixteen-bit microcontrollers are critical components in products ranging from computers and digital entertainment systems to appliances and automobiles. Given the pervasive nature of this technology, the MS-32 option opens a potentially large new market segment to our low-cost WaveSurfer 400 and mid-tier WaveRunner 6000 high-performance oscilloscopes."
