Caprius, Inc. Enters into Distribution Agreement with Fresenius Medical Care for the Dialysis Market

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Caprius, Inc. (OTCBB: CAPR.OB) announced today that its subsidiary, MCM Environmental Technologies, Inc. ("MCM"), entered into a Distribution Agreement with two operating units of Fresenius Medical Care North America ("FMCNA"). The agreement grants a license to use and sell any and all current or future versions of the following products manufactured and/or distributed by MCM; Ster-Cid disinfectant(R), Junior Filter Bags and SteriMed System(R) products. These products will be available for distribution by the FMC-NA domestic sales force for the approximate 4,200 dialysis clinics within the United States, Canada, the Caribbean basin and Bermuda. The SteriMed System products provide an on-site solution to convert red bag infectious medical waste to ordinary black bag waste.

Caprius, Inc., headquartered in Fort Lee, NJ, is engaged in manufacturing proprietary equipment for on-site medical waste disposal through its subsidiary, M.C.M. Environmental Technologies, Inc (MCM).
