STAMFORD, Conn. -- Road Runner Business Class, Time Warner Cable's commercial broadband service, was ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction" among broadband data business customers, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Major Provider Business Data Telecommunications Services Study.(SM)
Included in the study for the first time, Time Warner Cable's Road Runner Business Class, scored particularly well in customer satisfaction, ranking 34 index points above the industry average and received notable attention for customer service and billing. The study indicates that customer service, performance and reliability are the most important factors in customer satisfaction among business customers.
The 2005 Major Provider Business Telecommunications Services Study is based on responses from more than 5,100 U.S. businesses of all sizes and includes evaluation of their data and voice service providers. The study measures satisfaction across seven key factors: performance and reliability; billing; cost of service; sales representatives/account executives; company image; offerings and promotions; and customer service.
"Receiving top recognition from the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates study validates what our customers have been telling us for years," said Ken Fitzpatrick, senior vice president, Time Warner Cable Commercial Services. "Our focus is on the customer, providing essential data solutions, consultation and great customer service."
The study, in its fifth year, measures the satisfaction of businesses with their data telecommunications services in two areas: broadband data services (i.e., DSL, cable modem, Ethernet, dedicated access) and high-end data services (i.e., GigE, frame relay, ATM and other packet/cell technologies).
