Acopia Networks Joins HP's Information Lifecycle Management Partner Program; Plans to Pursue Opportunities to Integrate Award-Winning Functionality with the HP StorageWorks Reference Information Storage System

LOWELL, Mass. -- Acopia Networks, the innovator of Adaptive Resource Networking, today announced it has joined HP's Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Partner's Program to deliver ILM solutions based on the use of its ARX(TM) products with HP's StorageWorks Reference Information Storage System (RISS).
Through innovative use of its ARX switches, Acopia provides to RISS users a global namespace for both Windows and Unix environments and the ability to migrate data between HP RISS and standard file servers without application disruption or client configuration changes. The combined use of ARX switches with RISS will provide enterprise customers with the ability to deploy highly scaleable RISS archive solutions, with unprecedented accessibility to information, for their existing global file data.
