Court Enters Restraining Order against Xacta and Telos In Computer Fraud & Abuse, Trade Secret Violation & Copyright Infringement Lawsuit Filed by SecureInfo Corporation

SAN ANTONIO -- The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia entered a temporary restraining order against Xacta Corporation, Telos Corp (Xacta's parent company) and David Wilson (Xacta's Vice President of Product Management) on May 13, 2005 in the lawsuit filed by SecureInfo Corporation for computer fraud & abuse, violation of trade secrets and copyright infringement against Xacta, Telos and Wilson.
The order entered by the Court enjoins Xacta, Telos and Wilson from using, accessing, copying or disclosing SecureInfo's RMS(TM) software as well as any other trade secret or confidential information of SecureInfo. Additionally, the Court order enjoins Xacta, Telos and Wilson from selling or offering to sell any software or service based in whole or part on SecureInfo's RMS(TM) software as well as any other trade secret or confidential information of SecureInfo. Further, the Court order enjoins Xacta, Telos and Wilson from destroying or altering any evidence of their use of SecureInfo's RMS(TM) software or other SecureInfo trade secret or confidential information in addition to destroying or altering any evidence of their sale of software or services based upon SecureInfo's RMS(TM) software, trade secret or other confidential information.
Concerning the Court's order, SecureInfo General Counsel Victor Pascucci III stated, "We are pleased with the Court's order and are extremely confident in our position on this matter." SecureInfo Chief Executive Officer, R. Steven Kiser stated, "I am encouraged by the progress in this lawsuit and look forward to the Court's continued protection of our interest and the prosecution of this matter."
