RadView Software Announces WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 for .NET and Microsoft Web Applications; Accelerates Resolution of Performance Problems From Weeks to Days
Business Wire, May 18, 2005
BURLINGTON, Mass. -- RadView(TM) Software Ltd. (OTCBB: RDVWF), a leading provider of solutions for verifying the performance, scalability and integrity of business-critical Web applications, today announced WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0, the only load testing tool with root cause analysis for .NET and Microsoft Web applications.
WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 provides rapid detection and resolution of the many possible performance issues that can occur in the various tiers of an application. WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 is fully integrated with RadView's load testing solution WebLOAD, for a comprehensive perspective on application performance. Measurements from the end-user perspective are synchronized with metrics from all activities at the system level, providing users with essential details of why a problem is occurring, for faster problem resolution.
WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 utilizes black box software that much like an aircraft black box, records a synchronized log of application load execution at multiple levels, including virtual user interactions from WebLOAD, application configuration, application performance, and application calls, to pinpoint the root cause of performance issues. The log filters the information necessary to identify the root cause of a problem and allows QA engineers to quickly review and communicate the problem to development, eliminating the time-consuming process of gathering information and recreating and documenting the problem.
"A hallmark of all RadView products is the support of team collaboration between QA and development," said Omri Reuter, Vice President of Product Development for RadView Software, Ltd. "From our use of JavaScript, to shared scripts for functional and load testing, we have always believed it is essential to deliver tools that aid in the communication effort of these two groups. By providing QA Engineers with the information that development needs to quickly detect and resolve problems, WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 helps these teams deliver high-quality applications."
More About WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0
WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 provides correlated metrics for a complete picture of an application's problems. The product integrates data from all distributed application tiers, Web server, database server, and application server, with minimal performance impact. The black boxes can be deployed and controlled remotely and the recordings are stored with WebLOAD's session files. The software is easily installed, and no changes need to be made to source code, executables, or operating systems. The Black Boxes can connect to applications in runtime, without an application restart.
Multiple Views
Drill-down into various levels of detail for pinpointing the root cause of application issues. Users can drill drown from the page view to the configuration, system, or component level views to fully analyze application failures and errors.
Synchronized Metrics
View a real-time log of correlated metrics such as user actions, system events, performance metrics and configuration data, making it easy to view the full picture of an application environment and quickly pinpoint the root cause of any problems.
Transaction Tag and Follow
Follow transactions/pages from client to server and server to server with the ability to drill-down into any component of distributed Web applications for pinpointing problems. Immediately highlight the cause of an application's delayed response time.
Pinpointing Configuration Issues
Compare two or more machines for rapid identification of configuration set-up errors with WebLOAD Analyzer's display of recorded application and system configuration data.
Pricing and Availability
WebLOAD Analyzer 3.0 is available today with pricing beginning at $31,854. that includes one Console and two Black Box server installations.
