Juniper Networks Strengthens Management Team with Two Key Appointments; Appoints Vice President, Enterprise Products and Solutions and Vice President, Engineering, IPG

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) today announced the appointments of Hitesh Sheth to the position of vice president, Enterprise Products and Solutions and Liam Kiely to the position of vice president of Engineering, for Juniper's Infrastructure Products Group (IPG).
Reporting to Krishna "Kittu" Kolluri, executive vice president and general manager of Juniper's Security Products Group, Sheth will be responsible for developing and executing Juniper Networks' go-to-market strategy for the enterprise market.

Kiely will drive the definition and development strategy for Juniper Networks' best-in-class core and edge routing platforms. He will report to Carol Mills, executive vice president and general manager of Juniper's Infrastructure Products Group.

Hitesh Sheth Background
Sheth brings almost 20 years of industry experience to Juniper Networks. He has a solid track record in building cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. Sheth joins Juniper Networks from Cisco Systems where he led a strategic cross-company initiative to establish Cisco in the Metro Ethernet market. Under his leadership, revenue for the Metro Ethernet business more than tripled in a four-year period and the company secured the number one market share position. During his seven year tenure at Cisco, he held a number of senior management positions in marketing, business development and general management. Prior to Cisco, Hitesh held executive positions at Liberate Technologies, Oracle Corporation and The Santa Cruz Operation.
Liam Kiely Background
Kiely brings more than 20 years engineering and design experience to Juniper Networks and a proven record in leading and building global engineering organizations. Most recently he was vice president of Engineering at 3Com, where he led a global team of engineers with responsibility for overall product design and sourcing. Previously, Kiely held a number of key executive and engineering positions at Nortel, including that of vice president, Business Management for Optical Packet Interworking and the IP Infrastructure Division.
