Business Wire, May 2, 2005

SAN FRANCISCO & ATLANTA -- Macromedia (Nasdaq:MACR) and Premiere Global Services (NYSE:PGI) today announced a strategic partnership for a new, integrated teleconferencing service with Macromedia(R) Breeze(TM). This partnership will join together Premiere Global Services' leading business communications services with the leading web conferencing capabilities of Macromedia Breeze 5 (announced today; see separate release) to deliver a unified, high-impact web communications solution for customers worldwide. For more information or to access a free trial of Breeze 5 and Premiere Global Services audio conferencing, please visit www.macromedia.com/go/premiere.> "A state-of-the-art, integrated teleconferencing service adds yet another rich dimension to Macromedia Breeze 5 for enterprise web conferencing and communication," said Tom Hale, senior vice president and general manager, Macromedia. "We're excited to partner with Premiere Global Services to provide enterprise customers with a high-caliber teleconferencing service for the most effective online communication solution possible."

The partnership between Macromedia and Premiere Global Services provides a powerful service for both companies' customers who are clamoring for audio and rich visual web components. Breeze 5 customers can now control audio and access flexible conference calling directly within the Breeze meeting room interface, while Premiere Global Services clients can tap into powerful, user-friendly web communications to enhance their audio conferences.

"Meetings with both voice and visuals make a greater impact for business users," said Ted Schrafft, president, conferencing and collaboration, Premiere Global Services. "By working together to utilize each other's open technologies, we are able to offer market-leading teleconferencing capabilities integrated with Macromedia Breeze 5. This integrated offering will help customers significantly improve the productivity and efficiency of their enterprise web communications."

Meeting attendees know the pain of distracting background noises while on a conference call. To alleviate this problem, anyone in a Breeze meeting using Premiere Global Services teleconferencing can individually control the volume of each caller or mute as needed. In addition, users can record both audio and web conferencing portions of a Breeze meeting, including synchronized recording of the telephone audio conference. The streaming, unified recording is made available from one easy-to-access URL after the meeting.
