Citibank Celebrates Mother's Day with Complimentary Citibank Global Transfers to Mexico; New Customers can Receive $25 for Sending Money Back Home

NEW YORK -- In celebration of Mothers Day, now through June 15, 2005, Citibank is waiving the normal transaction fee of $5 to $8 to send money to Mexico using Citibank Global Transfers. Additionally, new Access Account customers can receive $25 during this special promotion. Access Account, is a "checkless" checking account with features that allow those in the U.S., to send money back home to Mexico, using Citibank Global Transfers.

The Access Account will save customers money while making it quick and easy to send money home to family and friends. The Access Account was developed as part of Citibank's ongoing commitment to be a provider of innovative products and services to a wide spectrum of customers, thereby reinforcing Citibank's position as a market leader in the financial services industry.

New Access Account members will receive $25 in their Access Account after completing 2 Citibank Global Transfers to Mexico within 60 days of opening their new account.
