Amerix Appoints Cavalcanti Hume Funfer As Investor Relations Adviser

TORONTO -- Amerix Precious Metals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:APM) today announced that it has selected Cavalcanti Hume Funfer Inc. (CHF), of Toronto and Calgary, as the Company's investor relations adviser. The investor relations program will focus on shareholder communications and building Amerix an active following of investment specialists across Canada.

Amerix President and CEO, John Andrews said: "Amerix is committed to increasing shareholder awareness and value of its precious metals properties. With CHF engaging in professional and proactive investor communications, the Amerix story will progressively be told to knowledgeable resource-focused professionals across Canada."

CHF will provide investor relations services for an initial period that will run for six months ending November 15, 2005. Thereafter, cancellation by either party requires three months' notice. Investor relations services will require a monthly fee of $6,000 plus disbursements. The contract will also include incentive stock options of 500,000 shares priced at a premium to the market at $0.44, subject to Board approval, exchange approval and vesting rules of the exchange.
