Business Wire, May 3, 2005
SEATTLE -- Additional Incentives Follow Aventail's New Product Launch and Aggressive Channel Expansion Throughout North America, Europe and Asia
Leading SSL VPN technology company Aventail Corporation today announced a new phase to its global channel incentive plan, featuring cash payouts to partner-led sales. Launching this week, the two-month program gives cash bonuses to partner sales representatives and systems engineers for every Aventail EX-1500 or EX-750 SSL VPN appliance sold based on partner-generated leads. Aventail's growing worldwide channel includes more than 300 resellers and distributors.
"The SSL VPN market is taking off, and we know that by partnering with Aventail we are meeting customers' needs for unmatched secure remote access to corporate resources," said Mark Schulstad, director of sales and marketing for Conjungi Networks. "Aventail continues to impress us with their support and dedication to the channel. This new incentive program is yet another reason why we are an Aventail channel partner."
The program adds to Aventail's long list of benefits offered to channel partners. Sales and joint-marketing support includes lead pass, joint-marketing funds and events, and a dynamic extranet that contains key sales and marketing, technical, and support information. The company also provides ongoing partner communication updates via a dedicated Aventail partner team.
"We continually strive to add more value to our partner programs, helping to increase business opportunities for both our resellers and Aventail," said Harvey Storms, director of channel marketing for Aventail Corporation. "This new initiative continues on the success of our overall incentive program, which is designed to reward those partners working to maintain Aventail's market leadership in the global SSL VPN industry."
Aventail's SSL VPN appliances are recognized as technology leaders in End Point Control, policy management, and transparent, easy-to-use access options to the broadest range of applications. Announced this week is Aventail's newest VPN platform featuring patent-pending tunneling technology. The Aventail Smart SSL VPN is the first and only VPN solution on the market that provides universal application access with complete control and security. The Aventail VPN secures communication to all resources, including complex applications like VoIP, for managed and unmanaged devices with the most comprehensive Web and client-based access options.
The incentive program runs worldwide from May 2, 2005, to June 30, 2005. Only new appliance sales are eligible. Upgrades and/or maintenance sales do not qualify for this program. In addition to the incentive program, the company will recognize top-performing regional salespeople each month.
