Business Wire, May 3, 2005
HOLLISTON, Mass. -- W. A. Wilde Company, New England's largest direct marketing and fulfillment solutions provider, broke new ground with the completion of a project that is believed to be the fastest large-scale digital print-on-demand job. Using its new Xerox iGen3 digital printers, Wilde printed 2.5 million documents for a financial services firm in less than a week. The project represents a milestone for the print-on-demand market, considered one of the fastest growing areas of the direct marketing industry, expected to reach $15 billion this year.
Wilde's new state-of-the-art Xerox equipment is helping the company to complete higher quality digital print-on-demand projects faster.
Combined with Wilde's existing e-Z-Orders technology -- which gives clients the ability to quickly and easily make changes to print-on-demand jobs via the Internet -- the iGen3 printers enable customized direct marketing campaigns to be launched faster, ultimately improving response rates of client campaigns.
Wilde has seen customers experience returns five times the normal response rate when using this advanced technology.
"The installation of these state-of-the-art digital printers is a major milestone for Wilde, helping to further distinguish our company as a true leader in direct marketing and fulfillment," said Tom A. Wilde, chief executive officer, Wilde. "As this print-on-demand project demonstrates, Wilde continues to set the standard for our industry."
"Wilde is again extending its reach to meet the evolving needs of businesses today, adding these new digital printers to a suite of capabilities that is unmatched in the industry, including a creative services agency, data management and web-based customer solutions, and complete mailing and fulfillment services."
