Business Wire, May 3, 2005
NEW YORK -- Now Sold Through IBM Relationship, TICTOC Enables Rigorous "Date and Time Simulation" Testing for Software Developers in Mainframe Environment
Isogon, the leading provider of mainframe Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions, today announced IBM (NYSE:IBM) will start re-selling TICTOC, Isogon's date and time simulation software for Mainframe developers. Originally created to simulate Y2K scenarios, TICTOC has emerged as a leading Mainframe developer's simulation tool that is relied upon for exhaustive software testing around the world. By enabling virtual date and time testing, TICTOC helps software development teams ensure their software performs as intended. The IBM's reseller agreement will ensure TICTOC is available and supported for users around the globe.
Isogon's TICTOC offers the Mainframe industry's most comprehensive programming language, environment, and format support; TICTOC is widely recognized as the most advanced time-simulation testing tool in the industry. TICTOC enables testing at the end-of-period, a week, month, quarter or year processing or simply testing across midnight or any other critical time period. A simple, online interface between TICTOC and ISPF ensures that programmers can specify testing on individual development jobs or create a "wildcard" testing scenario across groups of programs. TICTOC offers some of the most stringent security features, allowing managers to define which programmers receive access even down to specific job groups or classes. Minimal training is required to gain immediate benefits from TICTOC, and the program is completely supported by a dedicated online help system.
"IBM's addition of TICTOC to their software solutions portfolio continues to validate Isogon's ability to offer unique value and capabilities in both IT Asset Management and software development tools," said Ron Nabors, Isogon's Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing. "Last year IBM selected our SoftAudit for z/OS and our Vista solution to complete their End-to-End IT Asset Management solution. We welcome the opportunity to extend TICTOC's unparalleled simulation testing capabilities to thousands of IBM clients globally through this reseller agreement. TICTOC's support for just about any programming language and multiple clock formats, shifting time zones and specifying a virtual date are unmatched."
