OMAHA, Neb. -- Werner Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:WERN), one of the nation's largest truckload transportation companies, will participate in a panel presentation to the investment community at the Bear Stearns Global Transportation Conference on Thursday, May 12, 2005 in New York City. The presentation by John J. Steele, Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, will begin at 8:00 A.M. (EDT) and will be approximately 40 minutes in length, including questions and answers after the presentation.
