Kayote Networks Joins Check Point's Partner Alliance Program; Check Point Expands Renowned OPSEC Partner Program to Address Evolving VoIP Security and Interconnectivity Issues
Business Wire, May 31, 2005
PASSAIC, N.J. -- Kayote Networks, Inc., an expert in VoIP interconnectivity technology and developer of advanced IP communication services, announced today that it has joined the renowned OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) Partner Alliance Program of Check Point(R) Software Technologies Ltd. Through the OPSEC Partner Program, Kayote and Check Point will be working together to provide enhanced VoIP security and interconnectivity services including SPIT (Spam for Internet Telephony) detection and prevention, as well as Caller-ID verification and authorization.

"Based on customer demand, we introduced a new solutions focus for our OPSEC program this year that includes a dedicated VoIP security category," said Paul Weinstein, vice president of business development for Check Point Software Technologies. "With so many companies looking to VoIP as a means of cost-effective communication, security is a must-have. We will work closely with our new partner, Kayote, to protect our mutual customers from the latest VoIP threats."
