450 Twin Cities Employees to Volunteer at Local Sites on ''IMPACT Day,'' Deloitte's National Day of Service

Deloitte:
WHO: 450 Twin Cities Deloitte & Touche USA LLP employees will
leave their desks behind Friday to participate in volunteer
opportunities such as facilitating wellness activities for
students, park clean-up, and a variety of other volunteer
activities as part of Deloitte's IMPACT Day.
WHAT: IMPACT Day is Deloitte's national day of volunteer service.
Each one of Deloitte's 30,000 people nationwide is encouraged
to set aside their work for the day and volunteer in the
community. IMPACT Day is held during the workweek,
underscoring the firm's commitment to workplace volunteerism.
WHEN: Friday, June 3, 2005
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., at locations listed above.

Bruce Vento Elementary School, 409 Case Ave., St. Paul
-- At this location, Deloitte leaders and volunteers will
facilitate classroom and outdoor activities with students,
focused on the "Eat Well, Play Well, Live Well" theme
including presentations on healthy eating (and a chance to
make a healthy trail mix), reading sessions with interactive
exercises and t-shirt design. All Deloitte volunteers, Jon
Eisele (Minnesota Office Managing Partner) and Dave Brookman,
(Director of Human Resources) are available for interview, as
are representatives from Bruce Vento Elementary, to discuss
the relevance of IMPACT Day and its effect on students.
WHY: By working together, Deloitte and this year's selected
organizations will positively impact the lives of local
children, schools and the broader community in which they
learn, while demonstrating the importance of community
involvement and giving back.
