Customers Leverage Courion's Self-Service Password Reset Connector for IBM Tivoli Access Manager Investments; New Connector Enables Rapid Implementation of Web Access Management Solutions
Business Wire, May 9, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO -- Courion(R) Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise provisioning solutions, today announced that customers are leveraging Courion's Password Reset Connector for self-service password reset of IBM Tivoli Access Manager and other applications. This connector has been developed for companies with existing IBM Tivoli Access Manager environments that require a user self-service interface for password management. With Courion's Password Reset Connector for IBM TAM, customers can leverage their existing Tivoli Access Manager environments by requesting password resets through Tivoli Access Manager and allow propagation of the reset request to all applications, not only those being managed by IBM.
With Courion's Password Reset Connector, companies using IBM TAM can integrate user self-service password management to provide their customers, partners, and employees with easy and timely access to corporate resources across the network while delivering enhanced security and operational efficiencies through reduced implementation time and infrastructure costs.
"Controlling user access to resources, applications and non-IT assets are key aspects to any identity management strategy. Our customers identified a need in their existing identity management environments in providing secure self-service access to applications that Courion is well suited to address," said Brian Milas, CTO, Courion. "Since Courion prides itself on listening to our customers' needs, we are leveraging our extensive experience in this market to provide a solution to help our customers speed up implementation and receive a faster return on their identity management investments."
