IHS Inc. Prices Initial Public Offering at $16 Per Share

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- IHS Inc. (www.ihs.com) today announced the pricing of its initial public offering at a price of $16 per share. The offering consists of 14,515,000 shares of Class A common stock to be offered by the selling stockholders. IHS will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares by the selling stockholders. The shares are scheduled to begin trading November 11, 2005, on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "IHS."
To the extent that the underwriters sell more than 14,515,000 shares of Class A common stock, the underwriters have the option to purchase up to an additional 2,177,250 shares from the selling stockholders.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking are acting as joint book-running managers, Morgan Stanley & Co. is acting as joint lead manager and UBS Securities LLC, KeyBanc Capital Markets, A Division of McDonald Investment Inc., and Piper Jaffray & Co are acting as co-managers for the offering.
